When career bank robber Doug MacRay and his crew take bank manager Claire Keesey hostage during a break-in, it seems like just another notch on their criminal belts. They quickly release her unharmed. Paranoid about what she may have told the police and the FBI, which could identify them, Doug begins dating her to learn her secrets. What he does not anticipate is falling in love with Claire while contemplating leaving behind the life of crime in which he was raised. When he discovers that she can positively identify his right-hand man, James, based on a unique tattoo on his arm, Doug must decide whether or not to tell his ruthless colleagues fearing that they will kill her.
