The result of a world war in the distant future sees the United Kingdom ruled by the fascist Nosefire party. Living in this dystopian world is Evey Hammond, employee of the state-run British Television Network, and the eventual architect – along with the masked vigilante known as “V” – of the tyrannical government’s downfall. Tracking them is Inspector Eric Finch, who comes to question his lown loyalty and everything his government stands for.
