Set in the 1960s and 1970s, The Many Saints of Newark is a prequel to The Sopranos, and follows a young Tony Soprano as he is shaped by his family and the chaotic Newark riots. The film centres on Dickie Moltisanti, Tony’s mentor, navigating violent mob rivalries, which lay the groundwork for Tony’s eventual rise to power.
