Greg Sestero is a young actor in the 1990s hoping that his big break is just around the corner. When he meets the eccentric Tommy Wiseau in an acting class, the two form a friendship and decide to take on Hollywood. After moving to L.A. and being turned down at countless auditions, Tommy takes matters into his own hands and writes the script to a film starring himself and Sestero. The result is The Room, widely regarded as one of the worst movies to ever hit the screen.
