Detective James Carter and Chief Inspector Lee find themselves in Hong Kong for some much-needed R&R after their recent hijinks in L.A. The calm doesn’t last long though, and following a bomb explosion at the American Embassy, the two quickly get wrapped in the case and discover that the Triads are responsible, with ganglord Ricky Tan – ex-cop and partner to Lee’s late father – ultimately behind it. With clues leading back to Las Vegas, they uncover a huge counterfeit money scam, and plenty of dark secrets to go with it.
