It’s been a few years since Sawyer Nelson saved Winter the dolphin with a team from the Clearwater Marine Hospital. In that time, Winter’s mother Panama has died, leaving Winter alone in her pool at ths hospital. Regulations dictate that dolphins must have a companion, for fear of become isolated, stressed and anxious – symptoms that Winter soon shows. It’s now up to Sawyer and the team to find a new poolmate for Winter before inspectors threaten to remove her and bring her to a new location.
