Batman hunts an escaped Joker who has recently launched an attack on the Gordon family, shooting and paralyzing Barbara Gordon a.k.a. Batgirl. He eventually kidnaps Commissioner Gordon, holding him hostage at a rundown amusement park. Batman accepts an invitation from Joker to come to the park, where he goes up against the clown prince in a tricked-out battle.
