After losing her father when she was eight years old Samantha Montgomery falls under the care of her evil step mother who routinely exploits her. While Sam slaves away in her step mother’s diner, she finds solace in an online friendship shared with a guy named Nomad. One day Nomad invites her to a dance, and after agreeing to meet him there she soon discovers that Nomad is actually the most popular – and cutest – guy in school. She panics right after meeting him and runs home, dropping her phone on the way. After finding the phone, Nomad goes on a quest to find his Cinderella.
